Dave is a playwright and screenwriter. His stage-play 'Experience' was produced at Hampstead Theatre, shortlisted for the Nick Darke Award, and adapted into a feature film by Lorton Entertainment - 'Embers' stars Christian Cooke and Ruth Bradley, and was selected for the BFI London Film Festival Works-In-Progress Showcase 2022. Dave's thriller feature 'A Mother's Right' was commissioned by Reel One Entertainment and will premiere worldwide on Paramount+, Channel 5 and Lifetime. His next drama thriller 'Field Of Lies' has also been commissioned. His TV drama series 'Accident' is currently under option to LA Productions, and his sitcom 'Chosen' is under option to Hat Trick. He was commissioned to write the comedy-drama feature 'The Postmaster Of Wincanton', Wagon/Tiger Aspect. It placed 'Top 40' out of 7,125 submissions in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship Award. Dave's screenplay 'Kick It' was runner-up in the Arch & Bruce Brown Foundation Award, New York. He is currently adapting the best-selling novel 'Trading Reality' into a TV series for Doorway Films. Dave was part of the BBC New Talent Hotlist, and was on attachment to BBC Drama Room; his comedy-drama 'Shock Jock' aired on BBC Radio 4, starring Adil Ray and the late, great Roy Hudd. His debut play 'Afterbirth' was developed at National Theatre Studio and produced at Arcola Theatre. He has had several plays produced at the Edinburgh Festival, including 'Somewhere Beneath' which won the Scotsman Fringe First Award for Writing Innovation & Excellence. His short plays have been produced at Royal Court, Soho Theatre and the Criterion Theatre, West End.
