Dan Burks is an alumnus of USC's School of Cinematic Arts and co-founder of Om Films. He has produced and executive produced numerous award-winning films, including Grammy-nominated and PGA winner Beats, Rhymes, & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest; Super Dark Times; and The Ballad of Lefty Brown. Each of his features has premiered at either Sundance, SXSW, or Tribeca. Burks has recently returned to his writing and directing roots with the his short film The Stranger starring James Tupper. Burks lives by the Pacific Ocean with his wife, daughters, and surfboards.
