Cary Cremidas is an American filmmaker and photographer, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. His fascination with photography began as a boy when he found his parent's 8mm movie camera in a closet. From that moment on he absorbed everything about filmmaking and photography. After graduating high school he entered the film and television department at De Anza College, the largest, most successful department of its kind in California. Throughout his twenties he had a successful career in Silicon Valley as a cinematographer and photographer for some of the largest companies in the high-tech industry and won his first cinematography award in 1995. In 2002 his short film, The Sundial Field won the best short film award at the Hollywood Film Festival. In 2003 he moved to Hollywood where he continues his work as a filmmaker and photographer.
