The son of two actors who had met during a National Company performance of My Fair Lady. Eric Sandeen was born practically under a marquee on the "Great White" a sign of destiny for sure. Or at least the young Mr. Sandeen believed. He believed it so much that he decided to make the business of acting his life long pursuit. By the time the prodigy from the "Big Apple" reached adulthood he had managed to garner a myriad of lead roles in several important off-Broadway playhouses and theaters throughout the New York theater district. Upon his arrival on the west coast, Eric got his first taste of classical theater as "Bede" in Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor at the Shakespeare Society. His outstanding performance in the "Merry Wives' led to the recurring role of Jonathan Clegg III, the reckless son of Samuel Clegg II on the CBS Soap, "Capitol". Soon after graduating from the prestigious school of drama at Northwestern University in Chicago where he graduated with a B.A.in Dramatic Arts he landed several key roles in such noted plays such as as "Pippin", "Bus Stop" and "The Assassins". But the lure of the bright lights and big screen was to compelling to ignore and so the energetic Sandeen picked up his bags and headed west to "the entertainment capitol of the world'. Almost immediately upon his arrival he was booked on several YV shows and feature films that included, "Pacific Blue", "Port Charles", "Angel on Abbey Street" and "Terror Toons." Without a doubt there'll be more to come for talented young man born on "Broadway" After all, it's destiny!
