His PSA was featured by the documentary director, Josh Tickell at screenings of his documentary, "Fuel" where Nikos also participated in an Earthday panel discussion. He was selected as a guest speaker for the "L.A. IDEA Project" in the fall of 2009. Nikos' PSA was also shown the following year at the "Avatar Earth Day Celebration at the Nokia Center in Los Angeles where Nikos appeared with James Cameron before 5,000 at-risk youths in attendance. Nikos spent his summers as a teen immersed in filmmaking at Camp Red (Red Studios in Hollywood) and at Manhattan Film Institute (Long Island, NY) where he directed and edited six short films and crewed for dozens of others. His studies at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, focused on editing and sound design.
