Kazu Takeda

Kazu has an MFA in filmmaking from USC, where he wrote & directed an award-winning short, "Good Chemistry". He is an Associate Member of Ensemble Studio Theatre LA, where he directs play readings. He works as an Assistant Editor. He worked as a video producer/director in Wilmington, NC, where he also wrote & directed two independent shorts. He also served on the Board of Directors for Theatre Network of Wilmington, Inc. where, as a director, he helped make their bi-monthly Play Reading series a success. He received his BA from the University of MD, College Park, he where studied filmmaking, theater, and classical & jazz music. He was a long-time member and Creative Director of the campus's improv troupe, Erasable Inc, and a founding member of the award-winning a cappella group The Faux Paz.
