My dream is not being a diva; my dream is that my work is what prevails, and if that happens, then I will be a diva.” Rising steadily to fame thanks to her roles in teenage telenovelas, Mariana "Lali" Espósito had her breakthrough role in Casi Ángeles, which made her a household name in Latin America. Following that, she started to develop her popstar persona while being part of the teen band Teen Angels, which was composed of members of the Casi Ángeles cast. Together they toured internationally, setting the stage for her next big break. In 2014, she launched her solo music career by signing with Sony Music Argentina and releasing many albums through the following decade, featuring pop and EDM influences.
