Diego Araujo

Diego Araujo is a writer/director from Ecuador, currently based in Norway. Feriado (Holiday), his debut feature, premiered at the 64th Berlinale in 2014, after receiving the Tribeca Film Institute's narrative Voces Award in 2012. His second feature, Agujero Negro (Black Hole), an existential romantic comedy, premiered at Bafici in Buenos Aires in 2018 and went on to play in various festivals. In 2019, he directed the music video Talisa for Italian composer Daniele Luppi, featuring Karen-O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Araujo is currently developing his third feature, the neo-noir Fango.
