George Elder is the co-founder of Elder Productions. George manages Elder Productions direction and growth in all areas of production and development. George has over 35 years experience as Producer and Director in feature films, television production, documentaries, multimedia and television commercials. His awards include 3 Classic Telly Awards, Gold Medals from Chicago International, Houston, Atlanta and was Chicago's Screen Magazine Producer of the Year ('96). Among his many credits, George has served as Executive Producer/Producer of the highly 4 time Emmy nominated PBS series "Mexico: One Plate at a Time with Rick Bayless" (104 Episodes). George is producing a documentary "Connecting the Dots: Warhol and Bowie" about a single painting of David Bowie purported to be the work of Andy Warhol. George produced the feature comedy Boxboarders! released by Starz network and he produced the Chicago scenes for the comedy film, "You May Not Kiss the Bride" directed by Rob Hedden. He produced and directed the 90-minute concert documentary on the songs of French chanteuse Edith Piaf "Edith Piaf: Her Story...Her Songs. Starring Raquel Bitton" which was distributed by Lions Gate Entertainment.
