Ken Sheetz fulfilled his life long dream of making films after a highly successful commercial real estate career-starting part-time filmmaking in in 1993. A top Chicago developer, he was responsible for over $1 billion in commercial real estate work including a skyscraper at One North Franklin, and Oprah Winfrey's $28 million Harpo Studios. But In 1996, he left the real estate world behind to become a full time filmmaker. Since 1997, his creativity has birthed over a dozen screenplays, several feature documentaries, and hundreds of short films. His national PBS documentary, "A Kid's View of the US," poking fun at both liberals and conservatives alike, gives you a look at America through the eyes of its children. The 2008 version of the show, "Kids Talk Politics," was a #1 DVD in Amazon for 10 years and has garnered over 11 million views on the web. In 2009, Ken launched a Social Media Marketing venture called BuzzBroz.com that has produced over 1000 videos with over 40 million views across the Internet. In 2012, he co-produced and directed the documentary, "Discover Me!," with noted producer John Amodeo (Arrested Development), about the struggle of unknown actors to make it in Hollywood, available on Amazon. In 2013, Sedona AZ based scientist Dr. G. Patrick Flanagan invited Ken to produce 50 videos about his extensive work. Ken's experience in crowd-funding his film projects led to an Indiegogo that raised $1.6 million for Dr. Flanagan's updated Neurophone-a revolutionary techno-meditation device. In 2015, Ken produced and directed "The Neurophone Experience." Ken premiered his personal project documentary, "The Coolest Meditation Ever: Antarctica 12.12.12.," at the Sedona International Film Festival as a sold-out special screening on 12.12.16. "The Flanagan Experiments", a tribute documentary of Dr. Flanagan's contributions to alternative health and exploration of Tesla, pyramids, wizardry and physics, premiered with fanfare on January 17, 2019, at the Sedona International Film Festival as sold-out special screening. Since 2015 Ken has resided in Sedona with his love and producing partner for his last two films, Elizabeth England.
