Carrie-Ellen Zappa is the CEO of Zappa Studios in Blue Ash, Ohio. She has over 20 years of professional experience in entertainment as an actor, singer, director, talent agent, and acting coach. She has a BA from the University of California Irvine in Drama, studied with Uta Hagen and Nicole Fosse at The American Ballet Theater Company in New York, studied at the American Conservatory in San Francisco and Stanford University, along with Improvisation & Acting in LA. She has an Early Childhood Education Counseling Degree from UC Irvine. Professionally she conducts/teaches Private and Group Master Classes along with various industry professionals at her studio - Zappa Studios. Carrie-Ellen personally auditions and hand selects the talent she manages. Her talent have been cast in Independent Films, Television, Commercials, PSA's, Print Work, Voice Over work, Professional Theater Company performances, National Singing Competitions, National Broadway Tours and Hollywood Feature Films. Carrie-Ellen has directed the films "Carl & Jim", "Stone My Heart", and "Scorched Earth", along with over 75 productions at the pacific School of Music and the Arts in California and in the Tri-State Region. Most recently, Carrie-Ellen has been involved with the casting of Feature Films, "The Last Battle", "Home Front", "The Waiting Room", "A Strange Brand of Happy", "The Black Dove", "Secretariat", TV Web Series, "Posers" & "Wise Guys?" and short films "Corpse De Ballet" & "Descent of a superstar". Carrie-Ellen herself has recently appeared in "Home Front", "Through A Child's Eyes", "Wise Guys", "Posers" & "Corpse De Ballet". Carrie-Ellen's talent have been featured on "American Idol", "America's Got Talent", and have won performance awards including OCTA, OMEA, Acclaim Awards, Overture, National Dance & Show Choir Competitions, Presidential Awards and have songs available for download on iTunes. Zappa Studios is now focused on the development of several film and feature film projects.
