Robert C. Pemelton

Robert was born in Houston, Texas in August, 1962. Graduating High School in 1980, Robert went from job to job, waiting tables to construction. Always an avid surfer, he landed a job in a coastal resort in Mexico, working for several months as a Bartender. After returning to the United States, he joined the U.S. Army where he remained for 6 years. Upon discharge, he went to work in the oil fields. He worked 12 hour days, seven days a week, on oil rigs all over Texas, South Dakota, North Dakota, 7 days on 7 days off. On his days off he attended acting workshops and seminars to hone his craft. While employed on various South Texas ranches, Robert became the epitome' of the Texas Cowboy, excelling at all aspects of ranching, from cutting livestock, branding, and vaccinations. It is while ranching that he discovered his talent for the quick-draw with a western-style revolver. He picked up the art from an old cowboy, known only as Coyote Joe. During the early 1990s, he got the acxting bug, and joined a local Theatre troup, performing on stage as well as reenacting western scenes at local Baseball games and fairgrounds. His first feature film, "Rage Against The Madness", was shot in Vancouver, B.C., and Robert had to call on his Military experience to portray the role of Marine Corps Captain Mac McDonald. Upon completion of the film, he returned to Texas stages, landing lead roles in plays such as "You Can't Take It With You", and a variety of short films playing a range of Law Enforcement Characters from a western Sheriff to modern-day big city Detectives. When Robert is not acting, you can still find him surfing, scuba diving the South Texas Gulf Coast, attending acting workshops and classes in Austin or working on his ranch in Sullivan City, Texas.
