Frederik Nicolaï

Frederik Nicolai started his career in 2001 by executive producing short films in Belgium, such as ''Haun, 'Carlo' by Michael R. Roskam. In 2003 he moved his activities to the Netherlands where he was working for many fiction series and feature films. In 2004 he completely dedicated himself to author documentaries and collaborated with broadcasters like VRT, NPS, VPRO,.... After years of commuting between Bruxelles and Amsterdam, Frederik chose Brussels as his home to fully decidate himself to the Belgian documentary industry. Besides producer Frederik is also screenwriter, a direction coach for young filmmakers and lector at DocNomads (International masters project by three European film schools)
