NYC based, Joyia D. Bradley is known for her work on and off stage as well as in front of the camera and behind the scenes. Acting since the age of 12, with a background in finance, she has worked with many Fortune 500 A-List companies, managers, directors and actors (Disney, Venator Group/Footlocker, Deutsch Bank, Atlantic Theatre Group, Ian McClellan, Oliver Stone, Atlantic Records, etc.) as a dynamic liaison, utilizing teamwork, leadership, and effective communication to cultivate a safe and creative atmosphere. Due to her analytical mindset and creative foreground, she is a powerful negotiator, which aids in acquiring the key team players into positions, working with the unions for both stage and screen, and keeping all projects within the budget and on time. Born in Atlanta, GA (ATL) and raised in Texas, she's had the acting bug since the age of 5. She became a professional actor with national commercials, industrials; her first film, Born on the Fourth of July; and a national theatre tour all in the same year. Her education took her first across the pond to study with The Royal National Theatre in London England, then to a private musical theatre conservatory in Dallas, Texas under the late Rod Wilson and Broadway conductor David Andrews Rogers, and finally at The New School in NYC for film and stage under the mentorship of the late Michelle Materre (Creatively Speaking Film Festival/Podcast), John Frietas (Sisters) and Fernando Ramirez. She opened EB Productions in 2004 with her one-person play "Soul to Keep" to rave reviews as it played the theatre festival circuit in NYC. From there, she has written, directed and produced films and plays, collaborating with NY Theatres that help develop plays and films from infancy to the stage and screen. She also started a film collective of Black filmmakers from The New School called The Reel Collective. She gearing up for pre-production on two features, Igniting Water and Rex
