Lauren Buckley

Lauren Buckley, one of the youngest competitors in the first series of "Australian Idol", really came to prominence during the show's semi-finals. It was then that she blew both the judges and the home viewers away with her unique rendition of John Lennon's "Imagine". This performance gave her the most votes in her round, and she was therefore through to the Top 12. Unfortunately, her later performances were not quite as captivating, which led to her reasonably early exit from the finals; finishing in 9th place. However, Lauren is an extremely gifted vocalist, which will hopefully propel her to bigger and better things in the future.
