Stephanie Katers

Stephanie Katers is an actress and writer, known more recently for her starring role in "Other Desert Cities" in Santa Barbara. She authored numerous one-acts that showcased talent locally in Los Angeles and founded the Santa Barbara Writer's Salon dedicated to increasing those word counts in a nurturing environment for new and upcoming writers. On a whim, she won the Spontaneous Combustion Poetry award where people write and perform live in a short turn-around. After receiving an MFA in Theater from California Institute of the Arts, she acted in Repertory and Dinner Theater around the U.S. The surge in rom-com is especially encouraging, since this world could use a little healing.
