After 24 years working non-stop as an actor, Corral has studied and worked with a remarkable list of directors, including Carlos Saura, Jose Corbacho, Roger Gual, Javier Daulte, Juan Carlos Rubio, Hatem Khraiche and Jan Speckenbach, amongst others. In recognition of his career, his effort and his improvement, Javier Corral has won the first edition of the "Keep Walking Project Film Award", which was presented to him by Spanish movie star Luis Tosar. Part of his work as an actor and director have been exposed in the Reina Sofía Art Museum in the exhibition "Home Made 2014" Corral has worked in several short films: some of them have been nominated to the Goya Awards and others have been awarded at the Malaga Film Festival. In 2003, Javier Corral was also nominated to the Actors Union Awards for his performance of "Andres" in spanish sitcom "Living Lavapies", which became his breakthrough role. While he explores new paths inside acting, Corral works as a volunteer with several organizations such as "Payasos sin Fronteras" or "Apoyo en Positivo".
