He fell in love with professional wrestling upon viewing Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1996. Upon completion of training he began working the independent scene throughout the Midwest making a name for himself. His feud with M-Dogg20 was gaining national attention and the two were soon contacted by Combat Zone Wrestling in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was able to achieve one his goals in wrestling by competing at the ECW Arena. Josh increased his already growing popularity during his time with CZW and IWA Mid-South. In December of 2002 he made his debut for the Los Angeles based XPW by winning the Tag Team Championship of the world with long time adversary M-Dogg20 during their first match with the company. He also made his international debut when he recently competed in London England.
