Brian D. Young

BD is an accomplished screenwriter. With numerous scripts written, he's had over 15 produced and another 12 in active development. He has credits on features, MOWs, and series. His projects in development include a family feature, a romantic comedy, thrillers, and a TV series adaptation of a Jeffrey Archer novel. BD has written for Warner, Disney, Sony, Lifetime, Imprint, CBC, CTV, SyFy, Brightlight, Lighthouse, Movie Central, and many others. As a producer, BD has credits on MOWs and is in development on features and series as well. BD was awarded the Telefilm Canada Fellowship for his script Pot Scrubbers. That same script also won the Praxis Screen Writing Award. He has also been a top finalist in six international screen writing contests, international pitch festivals, and he has been featured in Script Magazine as a writer to watch. BD is Canadian and splits his time between his home just outside of Vancouver and Los Angeles.
