Daniel Day Lewis said of acting, "The thing about performance, even if it's only an illusion, is that it is a celebration of the fact that we do contain within ourselves, infinite possibilities." Cameron firmly believes that being an accomplished performer requires studying the craft both as an art and a science. Cameron got into Loyola Marymount University right out of high school, but decided to pursue acting instead, settling for a community college. A year later while working on a TV show at Pepperdine University, he went for an interview with the admissions office during his break and was received an acceptance letter to the school the following week. He took it as a sign and decides it was best to finish his education first. Cameron studied acting outside of school and kept his agent throughout his college career majoring in Advertising. He wants to gain the freedom to successfully lead a creative life, not through accident or luck, but through preparation, dedication and skill.
