Sinai Sganzerla has been working in film production for over 15 years She is also responsible for the production, preservation and restoration of more than 30 films belonging to her production company, Mercúrio Produções. She produced films, TV series and also distributed some films of her production company in theaters. Her first production Luz Nas Trevas - A Volta do Bandido da Luz Vermelha (Light in Darkness: The Return of the Red Light Bandit) was the only feature film in Latin America in competition at the 63rd Locarno Film Festival and screened in other important film festivals. She was responsible for the 35mm restoration of Copacabana Mon Amour (1970) film directed by his father Rogério Sganzerla, which was also screened at the 67th Locarno Film Festival and other major festivals. Her first film as a director and screenwriter was O Desmonte do Monte in 2018 ((The Dismantling of the Mount). The film was much sought-after in Rio de Janeiro's movie theaters, where it sold out for a consecutive month. In 2019 the film was screened at the 31st Cinélatino, Rencontres de Toulouse in France, among 1300 entries, being the only Brazilian documentary in the competition. The film also received the Best Search Award in the Arquivo em Cartaz - International Films Film Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2018. A Mulher da Luz Própria (The Woman with Her Own Light) is her second documentary in which she signs the script and direction and and still in 2019 started the production of the film titled Praia da Saudade.
