Sergio Esquenazi is a scriptwriter and filmmaker. He lived three years in Los Angeles, time he spend working as a director for commercials and video clips. In his country, Argentina, he carried out several TV series, one of which was broadcast by Channel 7 Argentina. The name of this series was "Black Code" a dark police story written and directed by him, which enjoyed a lot of success, being the highest rated network program. He wrote the novel The Place and the short stories book Night Stories. He directed the feature films in English language Dead Line and Bone Breaker. His first feature film in Spanish language was the Spanish-Argentine production Winter Visitor (Visitante de Invierno), the first Argentinean horror film to land theatrical release in Argentina in twenty years. In 2008 he made Number 8, starring Diego Alonso and the international model Sofia Zámolo. In early 2009 he directed They Want My Eyes, a horror film written by Demian Rugna. In 2010, faced with Hunt Lowry (long time Werner Brother producer) the project The Testament, based on the novel by John Grisham. Eventually the project was delayed until it was postponed; and to this day still is in stand by. In an interview he confirmed that he would dedicate some time to his family (his wife and two children) and so he did between 2010 and 2011. In 2012 he writes Bonavena, screenplay based on the life of Ringo Bonavena, best heavyweight boxer from Argentina. In 2013 he comments to Dead Central Blood, that he is working on Fractum, a film that mix science fiction, horror and drama, and also working in some no-horror films like Legend, based on the life of Juan Manuel Fangio, the best car racer of all time. In the same year he directs Leviatán, a crude drama and prepares Kosher Effect, an action comedy. The projects make him divide his time between Marbella, Barcelona, Milan and Buenos Aires.
