Jaleh Modjallal (aka Zsa Zsa Modjallal) is an Iranian born actress known for her work in the award winning film "The House of Sand and Fog" and in the television series "Sleeper Cell". She began her career in a performance of "A Streetcar Named Desire" at the Pasadena Playhouse, where her love of acting took hold. She refined her craft training with the likes of Jeff Corey and Leonard Nimoy. Although noted for dramatic supporting work, Jaleh is also adept at comedy, often as a straight man to the lead, as evidenced in her role in the 2018 romantic comedy, "Simple Wedding". Residing in Los Angeles, CA, Jaleh spent over 20 years in the UK and Norway and speaks fluent English and Farsi.
