Holly Chadwick

Holly Chadwick is a multi-talented artist and filmmaker with skills in web design, multimedia interface design, print and video for web and computer DVD. She has a BA in Film and Digital Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her studies there concentrated on traditional film production, silent film, experimental film, new media, and using technology to bring film to the Internet audience. She has studied film and fine art as far away as Alberta, Canada and Italy, but her educational background mostly comes from the Silicon Valley influenced guerrilla Indy film community of the Bay Area. Holly has been an independent web designer for over ten years. Has been a podcast producer and even had a three year stint at LensWork Publishing in the Prepress department producing LensWork, the fine art black-and-white photography magazine, and LensWork Extended. Holly wrote, directed, shot, edited, composed music and authored the interactive DVD for her film, Ask Her based on the legends of Santa Cruz County. With legends in mind, she is working on the web series, Sounds of Freedom. Holly resides on Whidbey Island with her husband James and two golden retrievers. She enjoys kayaking, boating extreme sledding, Land Cruiser off-roading adventures, playing piano, learning guitar, painting and photography. (As of 2016)
