Chris Ambrose was born in the now demolished Fairfield hospital in 1984. He started out in theatre lighting and eventually moved into management. In 2001 he became involved with a Sydney based punk band called "EightyM". During his stint with "EightyM" the band recorded the songs Life goes on, She'll never cheat on me, I love stalks, Valentine and several others. "EightyM" played major Sydney festivals such as "Blackstump2001" & "Grounded" before splitting up. Chris remains in close contact with all members of the band and keeps up to date with their future plans. Former member of the "Ambrose & Twyman in the morning" breakfast radio show on "Sydneys Nova 969". Since being replaced by close friends and fellow standup artists Tim Ross & Merrick Watts on Nova 969, Chris has begun touring with a one man stand up show "Ha, Ha, Chris!". Despite jokingly swearing revenge on "Merrick and Rosso" at the 2002 Logies, Chris is a huge fan and supporter of the lads and even appeared on an episode of their show "Merrick & Rosso Unplanned". Chris resides in Sydney when he isn't touring.
