James Muia

After seeing The Lord of the Rings by Peter Jackson in 2001 as an 18 year old, James Samuel Muia knew he wanted to pursue a career in filmmaking. He moved from his home state of Virginia across the country to attend the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Arizona where he could learn more about animation and filmmaking. After many years working in the industry struggling to find work and pay the bills, James set his passion aside to pursue a career in IT with a more stable income. Even though James had to change his primary career, his passion for filmmaking never left him. When YouTube finally emerged, it gave James an outlet to showcase everything that he could do, working on his own projects in his spare time. James combined his knowledge of video games, with his filmmaking background. He has created some popular cinematic films and Machinima based on gaming titles such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Kenshi. Always pushing himself to create higher quality content, James has now set his sights on creating animated films based on his favorite games and genres, sharing the stories he has in his head with the world.
