Relocating to New York City, Katie helped jump start an entire genre as casting director of AMC's first reality series, Into Character, followed by work on hit shows like Cash Cab, What Not to Wear, and Whose Wedding Is it Anyway? She also cast Amy Schumer, Ben Schwartz, Rob Huebel, Bobby Moynihan and John Gabrus in early scripted roles while networking in groups with Nick Kroll, John Mulaney and Donald Glover as they were just coming up.
