Maria Lamont

Maria Lamont is a Canadian Actor and Director. Maria won Best Supporting Actress award at the New York Independent Film Festival 2005 for her role as Alexandria in East of Euclid. She has performed in numerous plays at Canadian Theatres including the Tarragon Theatre Toronto and the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre. As a director she has directed at many international Opera Companies, including The Dutch National Opera, Edmonton Opera, and Pacific Opera Toronto. As an assistant director in opera, she has worked for many International Opera Houses including La Scala Milan, and Théâtre des Champs Elysées Paris, Teatro Opera de'll Roma, Theater an der Wien and many others.
