Estrella A. Medin E.

Graduated in Communication Sciences, Estrella Medina founded Productora Hilo Negro Films, whose first production is "Espinas" starring Guillermo Gil, Alejandro Tomassi, Esteban Soberanes, Carmen Salinas and Claudia Ramírez. Later she is Producer Executive of the Mexican-American production "Veritas: Prince of Truth" (2004), directed by Arturo Ruiz Esparza, starring Sean Patrick Flannery, Amy Jo Johnson and Anthony Zerbe. In 2005 she produces "Cañitas", known as the worst horror movie, March 2007, being distributed nationwide by Videocine. In the following years, she produced two horror films, "Even the fear is afraid" (2006), directed by Gustavo Moheno and starring Martha Higareda; and "The stone book" (2007), with performances by Plutarco Haza, Evangelina Sosa and Ludwika Paleta. Estrella Medina has also been Producer of the features films: "Euforia" (2008), by Alfonso Corona; "Once upon a time in Durango" (2008), by Juan Antonio de La Riva, "La Cama" (2008), by Rafael Montero, "Los Amorosos" (2010) by Rafael Montero, "La Cueva del Diablo" (2011), "The Dark Side of the night" (2011) and "Jirón de Niebla".
