Nirali Thakkar

Nirali is an artist and filmmaker .She graduated with a gold medal from Faculty of Fine Arts M.S University, India and studied painting at Parsons School of Design New York. She studied her MFA in film and TV production at University of Southern California assisting veteran filmmakers like William Fraker( Bullitt, Rose Mary s baby ), Robert Jones (Guess who is coming to dinner). She worked on many films- "Memory"( Sundance short 2004), Running through tall grasses( best cinematography award ASC), Seneca, Sweet sweet country( Best African American film award at DGA ) and so on. She has produced several projects with women in films- namely Sahara project( Lead producer), PSA for Boys and Girls club for city TV Santa Monica( producer), We care dental ( producer- Winner Telly Bronze award)LA Corps( associate producer), Mary Magdalene project ( associate producer), Picture hub company ( associate producer).Due to her diverse eclectic educational background, her knowledge in sound design,photography,production design - she can wear many a hats and
