City of birth : Caracas, Venezuela

Michael was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Being the son of a Miss Venezuela runner-up mother and a Jewish banker father, he always knew his cultural background would lead to a career in entertainment or many years of extensive emotional therapy. After a stint in 3 seperate high schools, Michael embarked on a professional soccer career only to realize that by playing collegiate soccer, one must also attend classes. This led Michael to leave the sheltered walls of academia and move to LA to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. There he met an acting coach named Andrew Benne, who started him on his path to relative obscurity. Michael is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory, and has trained at such prestigious institutions for writing, acting, improv and sketch comedy; as The Groudlings, and the Andrew Benne Studio. He has been seen throughout the country performing stand-up comedy in famous clubs such as the Hollywood Improv, the Punch Line in San Francisco, Cap City in Austin, and Connextions in Lansing, MI. He has been scene performing in theater in the Greater LA area in such venues as the Stella Adler Theater, the La Mirada Performing Arts Center, the Second City LA, and the Secret Rose Theater. He has gained critical acclaim by cutting edge comedic writers for shows such as Dennis Miller, The Daily Show, and Conan for his work in Show N' Television at the Second City, and such dramatic works as "Orphans" at the Stella Adler has gained him respect industry wide. Michael recently wrapped his first network sitcom pilot, and has interest to sell the rights to his short film Invest to Impress (2003) after a spectacular showing at the New York International Film festival in 2003. Soon you can see him on Fuse Television's William Hung special, playing several celebrites. Michael co-produced, wrote, and starred in last fall's sketch comedy hit Flippin through the channels part 1 at the Second City.
