Francesco Castellani

Director, screenwriter, film maker actually based in Rome. Since 1989 he collaborates with important Italians broadcasters. As director he realized many documentaries about archaeology, art, and social issues. He directed also many TV formats. As screenwriter he collaborates with other directors in writing stories for the screen and for TV shows. His first film as director for the screen was "Black Star" in 2013, a film inspired by a real football team of refugees playing in Rome under the team name of "Liberi Nantes Football Club". Black Star was a special event during the Rome Film Festival in 2012
