Russ Lewis

Russ Lewis was a popular ventriloquist who appeared many times with his wooden sidekick Brooklyn Birch on "The Ed Sullivan Show", "The Steve Allen Show", "The Dean Martin Show", "The Mike Douglas Show", and "The Hollywood Palace" during the 1960s. He also had his own children's show on Hollywood, California station KTTV. At the height of his popularity, he appeared in a command performance for the President of the United States and toured with the USO in Vietnam. He continues to perform his ventriloquist act with Brooklyn Birch on cruise ships, at dinner theaters and at casinos across the country.
