Malena's acting career began when she appeared on 13 Nights of Fright with Neil Gaiman (2004), with Neil Gaiman, on FOX. Malena is a dramatic "Colouratura Soprano" with a lot of soul. She is renowned for her four-octave range, as well as her sultry and seductive appearance. At 15, she won a five-state opera competition for her a Capella version of "Adele's Laughing Song" from Johann Strauss' operetta, "Die Fledermaus". She has also recorded songs by such famous authors as Gregory Maguire (Wicked), Neil Gaiman (Coraline), Daniel Handler (aka Lemony Snicket) (Series of Unfortunate Events) and many others. Malena is often asked to sing our National Anthem at nationally publicized sporting events, which always brings a true American spirit to the fans on all sides. She is currently recording her third album. From this release, she has chosen her favorite jazz standards, such as "Cry Me a River", "Fever", "Yesterday", "Lullaby of Birdland" and "Mambo Italiano!".
