Richard Wells

Also known as Richard D. Wells, he was born on a farm west of Enid, Oklahoma on November 6, 1936. His grandfather made the run in the Cherokee Strip opening in 1893, settling on a claim near Drumond, Oklahoma. Moved with parents to Oklahoma City in 1950. Attended Oklahoma City University. Married Linda Flemming in September, 1956. Four children, twins sons born 1960, daughter 1962 and son 1970. Have 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Elected and served as Justice of the Peace and Examining Magistrate, Division 4 Oklahoma County 1966 to 1968. With the Oklahoma State Government 30 Years. (2o years with Corrections as a Superintendent and 10 years with Central Services as Inspector and Project Manager) Travels extensively, having been to all 50 States, most Caribbean countries and throughout Europe and Russia.
