British Independent Film Award nominated writer director. His films have screened at Sundance, Venice, BBC, Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and the DGA to name a few. Was selected for the BFI mentorship scheme 'Guiding Lights' where he was mentored by the Oscar winning director Sam Mendes. Graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University where he earned a blue playing LaCrosse. Spent time traveling through Asia, Africa and the US collecting stories and photos with work published in magazines such as L'Express. Travel has always been a major part of his life. Expedition highlights include: climbed two Himalayan Mountains, overland travel from Hong Kong to London via the Trans Siberian Railway, overland from Moscow to Islamabad in Pakistan, expeditions in Central and Eastern Africa, Motorbiking from London to Istanbul, drove across the USA and traveled from Houston to Antwerp via cargo ship. Shooting films in Nepal, Oman and Ladakh. Shot expedition films in Oman, Nepal and Ladakh. Spent a year at the London Film School where he shot a film about Gurkha recruitment in Nepal. Camera trainee on the BBC series 'The Queen's Nose'. Produced the TV series pilot of 'Dosja e Krimit' for United Nations TV. Program screened on RTK. Wrote and directed 'Patrol' a documentary about British forces on peacekeeping duties for the Kosovan TV station KTV. Wrote and directed 'What Does Your Daddy Do?' which premiered at the Venice Film Festival and went on to be nominated for a British Independent Film Award. Won a Sloan Scholarship and an AFI Alumni scholarship to attend the MFA directing program at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. AFI thesis film, 'Family Jewels' premiered at the Venice Film Festival and received a US premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. On air film reviewer for BBC Radio 5 live with Dotun Adebayo. Selected for the Film London microwave scheme where he met the producer Ian Prior with whom he made Love/Me/De with. The project was selected for the Film London Build Your Audience Scheme. Prior to moving into film he was commissioned into the British Army serving on operations in Northern Ireland, Kosovo and the Far East with the Gurkhas and the Royal Green Jackets. Promoted to the rank of Captain. An International Manager for the HSBC Group working in international finance in India, Thailand, Hong Kong and London.
