Lisa Elaine Scott

Lisa Elaine Scott is a writer, video journalist and life-long human rights activist. She began her production career in community television where she helped bring unique, grassroots voices into the media through public access television and independent media production. From there, she moved into the mainstream, and worked at the American Film Institute, E! Entertainment Television and other commercial production companies. Since 2003, she has collaborated with various social justice organisations to create digital media content on such topics as CA's three strikes law, the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign, adoption reform, instant runoff voting and the Northern Ireland peace process.
