Jussi Rantamäki (1980) was born in Kokkola, Finland. He is the owner and CEO of Aamu Film Company based in Helsinki. He produced Cannes un Certain Regard winner The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki (2016) and Cannes Cinfondation winner The Painting Sellers (2010). After graduating from high school, he moved to Helsinki and studied in the university of applied sciences and graduated with a bachelor's degree in cultural management in 2004. During and after his studies, he worked as assistant director and location manager in various companies. Rantamäki started working as a producer in Aamu Filmcompany Ltd in 2008. He produced films together with Auli Mantila who was the owner of the company. Rantamäki's first two productions have premiered at the Berlinale and the Cannes Film Festival. He participated EAVE and was the Finnish Producer on the Move in Cannes 2013, which was the same year he became the sole owner of Aamu Film Company ltd. His first projects as the owner of the company are The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki by Juho Kuosmanen and miniseries Love&Order by Leea Klemola. Jussi lives with documentary director Elina Talvensaari and they have two children. Besides film he has acted in several theater plays by Leea Klemola in Tampere Theater.
