Andrew Patrick Torrez

Formidable storyteller Andrew Patrick Torrez found his love for the craft as he grew up along the US Mexico border town of El Paso Texas. Here he began honing his skill producing short films inspired by his unique upbringing. Andrew joined the "Art and New Media" department at the University of San Diego where he was removed for not "play by the rules" and insufficient Spanish Units despite being half Mexican. Overcoming this and countless other obstacles Andrew's determination and drive has never wavered. Andrew Patrick Torrez has brought to life television pilots, noted music videos, as well as a number of groundbreaking award-winning short films including House Hunting which took "Audience Choice" at the Hollyshorts Film Festival as well as a myriad of other accolades. But his proudest accomplishments on his roster are the feature-length films he has brought to life, including the physiological thriller Sickness House, as well as the dark comedy Under the Gun which earned "Beat Feature Length Comedy at the New York Independent Film Festival in Los Angeles.
