Laura fell in love with acting in her early childhood years and has worked hard pursuing her goal. Laura worked her way up the theater ladder with consistent lead roles in various school performances. Externally Laura was heavily involved with the NQADA theater troupe in Cairns which both train and perform regularly. Laura has a background in musical theater and sings at mezzo soprano range. Laura lived on a small coral cay, Low Isles, for her entire high school years. She says these were some of the best years of her life, and she misses it greatly. Along with Low Isles, Laura has also lived in outback Australia, Cairns, Perth, Sydney and Hamilton Island. Laura moved to Sydney in 2014. During this time, Laura worked with many prominent directors, casting directors and producers of local and international standard. Laura has been cast in many lead and supporting roles in a variety of challenging shorts, features and television work. Laura was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the prestigious international 168 Film Festival in Los Angeles for her role in Aaron Kamp's film Never Too Late. Along with other selected actors, Laura has a mentor in Coppelia Tingley, mother to actress Freya Tingley. Laura was named one of the top 100 Things To Watch in 2014 by STM Magazine.
