Luis Costa is a French actor, who was born in Paris. He was brought up by Portuguese parents in a working class environment in the Parisian suburbs, giving him a bicultural background. Growing up, he participated in many sports including tennis and boxing. After completing his science Baccalaureate, he went to Paris Descartes University to study biology. Three years later he changed direction to study finance at the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers), also in Paris, where he obtained a master's in Market Finance. Parallel to his university studies, he was introduced to acting at Cours Florent, a prestigious drama school. Having a passion for acting, he continued his development at the Studio Pygmalion. The search for authenticity in his acting and his admiration of anglophone actors, then led him to work for several years with the American acting coach Jack Waltzer of Actors Studio. Through his entry into theatre he joined an artistic agency, which then helped him into his first films and TV series. Later he discovered stand-up. He built his first one man show, performing in all the comedy clubs of the French capital. Also passionate about film-making, he has written his first short film scripts. His first film "Infinitesimal", produced by Paradigm Films, is due for release in October 2019. The story continues...
