At only 20 yrs old Jorge was offered his first position in the entertainment world. Ever since he has been managing production jobs and has constantly been working in the creative workforce. Now with over a decade of experience in all aspects of the entertainment business, Jorge has overseen creative concepts ranging from feature films to web-series and more. Jorge currently works as the Head of Production for global music television provider LP33. After advancing in the creative space as a photographer, Jorge quickly found himself in producers seat of several love budget feature films alongside Javier Chapa of Hippo Films. Together the two created Harvest of Redemption and the Insatiable, this is where Jorge gained his expertise managing large scale endeavors both in production and post-editorial. The Insatiable was acquired by ThinkFilms and played extensively on the Sci-Fi, both films are available in Blockbusters nationwide. After realizing the shift towards digital media in 2005, Jorge took his understanding of the creative process and focused his attention towards web based videos as the Head of Production for Global Gaming League in Santa Monica. There he oversaw all production initiatives such as daily live streams, web-series, and most notably Johnny Damon's and Snoop Dogg's professional video-game competition shows, segments were featured on MTV and BET, total video streams delivered are estimated at 20M. In between GGL and LP33 Jorge was offered the opportunity to travel to Lebanon to cover the '2006 Israel-Hezbollah War' as a freelance documentarian. The 3-Day shoot in Beirut and S. Lebanon included interactions with the President of Lebanon, Muslim Leaders and Dennis Kucinich. The footage was edited into a short film for circulation amongst political leaders in the UK. During these projects Jorge learned first hand the intricacies involved in the developing, directing, producing, writing, budgeting, shooting, lighting, and editing productions on a micro-budget while maintaining steady content. As the Head of Production for LP33 Jorge develops and oversees all original content for the company, content providers include weekly Canadian cable programming as well as McDonald's in-store television. LP33 specializes in broadcasting its content though web based IP delivery to virtually all platforms. At the end of 2010 Jorge's small production team has delivered over 300 interviews and acoustic performances from artists including Ringo Starr, Natasha Bedingfield, Sean Kingston, Santigold, Florence and the Machine, Ke$ha, David Gray, Perry Farrell, Moby, Anberlin, Orianthi, Tori Amos, Lonestar, Mike Posner, Kiefer Sutherland, Neon Trees, Cypress Hill and many more. This combined experience gives Jorge a unique perspective on the future on content delivery in the new digital marketplace in feature films, but all internet based home delivery systems.
