Stephen Lentini is a director, writer and producer. Starting his career at MTV in NYC, he's worked major television networks, including FOX, FOX Sports, TLC, Lifetime, Spike, NBC, Oxygen, and Nickelodeon to name a few. Also, as a commercial director he's worked for major brands such as Walmart, BMW, Volkswagen, Quantas Airlines and more. Stephen directed, wrote and produced, "The Blessing and the Curse," a shocking documentary that goes to the heart of a terrorist attack in the disputed West Bank, a place where religion and murder collide. In 2018, he directed the narrative short film, "Theo's Trade," that garnered acclaim and film festival success. "Theo's Trade" is about a disheartened news reporter who escapes a racially-charged situation in Chicago and returns to his childhood home in the South. Here he performs slave re-enactments, hoping to counteract the negative portrayal of black men in the media. Previous to that, Stephen produced and wrote two jaw-dropping documentaries. First, "The Glacier Project," which is about two big wave watermen who surf the worlds' most dangerous wave. The wave is formed by skyscraper-sized glaciers that melt from global warming and crash into a small river below. Second, the "North Canyon," which aired around the world, including FUEL TV and National Geographic Channel. The film documents Big Wave Surfer Garrett Macnamara as he dramatically attempts to surf the worlds largest wave, a 100-foot monster in Portugal.
