Amy (Duzinski) Janes started her career as a documentary editor for PBS and worked her way up to Vice President of Production for the Paramount Pictures shingle, Parkchester Pictures. She is the Executive Producer for the award-winning creative content agency, Fanology, and co-owner of Oklahoma's first motion picture sound stage, Green Pastures Studio, located in Oklahoma City, OK. Filling a need to build the workforce in Oklahoma, she is also the co-founder of the Oklahoma Film and TV Academy that trains below-the-line talent to fill the hundreds of jobs available to the local Oklahoma crew. Amy Janes is an Emmy-winning documentary series editor and an award-winning feature documentary producer. Her work includes As Seen Through These Eyes narrated by Dr. Maya Angelou, produced for the Sundance Channel, Crossfire Hurricane, and Valentine Road for HBO. Amy runs the Oklahoma Film and Television Academy, which is actively training a workforce for the state. She is the co-owner of Oklahoma's first working film and TV sound stage, Green Pastures Studio. She uses her storytelling skills as the Executive Producer at the LA-based agency Fanology where her team creates content for brands, studios, and celebrities in the digital space. For many years, Janes was the VP of Production for a Paramount shingle after graduating from UCLA with her MFA in the Producing Program. Her love for documentary filmmaking goes back to the beginning of her career, where she edited films for PBS. Amy serves as board co-chairman on Generation Citizen promoting action civics in OK schools, board member on the acclaimed Storytelling is her passion and life.
