Played just one year of high school football, his senior season at Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach, Flordia. Nailed a career-long 60-yarder against Palatka, which was also the second-longest FG in state history. Also hit FGs from 56, 53 and 51 yards. Had just two kickoffs returned, and 80 percent went through the end zone. First-team All-USA selection (USA Today) and also earned All-American accolades. Selected to play in the Florida-Georgia All-Star Game. Scored a state record 69 goals as a senior for the school's soccer team. Former member of the Polish national under-17 soccer team.
