Renata Hinrichs

Renata Hinrichs is an award winning actress-writer-producer. She is best known for the lead role in the Cannes Award winning film, HAPPY NOW, Marvel's JESSICA JONES Netflix series and for her solo play, RANDOM ACTS. She won an OBIE Award for best ensemble in, BIG DANCE THEATER's production of, A SIMPLE HEART, directed by Annie B Parson. She was a series regular on Bobbie Flay's first Food Network show. As an actor, Renata loves playing earthy and complex women with good hearts and good humor who are often struggling with the dark side of humanity. Her solo play, RANDOM ACTS, received the Best Storytelling Script award from the United Solo Festival. Her play is published by Indie Theater Now.
