Geni Brenda

A 1996 graduate of the Academy for Drama and Film in Bucharest, class mentored by actor Florin Zamfirescu, Geni joined the State Jewish Theater of Bucharest, TES, in 1998. She performed since in plays by Friedrich Dürrenmatt, Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, Arnold Wesker, Jacob Gordin, Sholem Alecheim, Isaac Bashevis Singer, Israel Zangwill, under the direction of Harry Eliad, Moshe Yassur, Alexander Hausvater, Kincses Elemér, Andrei Munteanu. Geni is also an assistant professor for drama studies at the Hyperion University. At TES, she performs in both Romanian and Yiddish.
