Aaron W. Bennett is an actor, comedian, and writer originally from Washington State. He co-formed a comedy improv troupe in Central Washington-Manic Thunder Improv, with long-time friend and comedic actor Matt Trickey. The group performed in Yakima, Washington inside the historic Capitol Theatre up until 2018 and celebrated their 400th live performance to a sold-out theater of nearly 200 loyal fans. He first began his career in comedy as a writer/actor on a local public access TV show in the late 90s where he discovered and developed his sketch writing and comedic timing. As a talented mimic and impressionist, he used his facial and physical dexterity to entertain through improv and stand-up comedy. He also lived out a childhood dream and spent 2 years as a rock-jock morning co-host on his favorite Rock Radio Station, 94.5 KATS, in Yakima, WA. In 2017 he dressed up as William Wallace in a partial horse-torso costume to quit his 18-year job with the help of fellow improv comedian Scott McLaughlin. After achieving legendary God-like status among retail employees for the stunt, he left the Yakima Valley for Los Angeles, California. He spends his non-writing time on set with his friends, making movies and loving life. Does he have regrets? Yes. He firmly believes stealing the company mascot's bear head prior to leaving his former employer was a bad idea. He lives with the weight of this burden on his shoulders each and every day, and may God have mercy on his wretched soul.
