Cary Crankson

Cary grew up in Camberwell, South London. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2006. Since then he has played a wide variety of roles in Theatre, Film and TV in the UK and abroad. His professional debut You're gonna wake up one morning... won best short video at the Empire Film Awards. He has been nominated twice for Best Male performance in a leading role at the Off West End Awards, for his roles as Iago in Shakespeare's Othello and Mephistopheles in a one man reworking of Goethe's Faust and won in 2020 for playing Jamie in Country Music by Simon Stephens. He also performed the one man show Death of England at the National Theatre for two nights covering Rafe Spall.
