James H. Thomas

James H. Thomas was born in the South Bronx, New York City, and educated in the United States, Beijing and Taiwan. He has spent over 15 years in Asia, including Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Taipei - homeland of Director Ang Lee. Besides his earlier career as a police officer in NYPD and athlete of the U.S. Olympic Track Team, he has worked as a free-lance director, teacher and actor in many Asian productions, including Chinese and Japanese movies. He is known as "Ji Ming" in China, and "Noriyaki" in Japan. With his multi-cultural background, James H. Thomas is fluent in English, Spanish, Chinese, and has basic Korean and Japanese comprehension.
